Sustainability Goals

HAMPSHIRE ECOFARMS is committed to achieving specific environmental targets that underscore our commitment to ecological balance and sustainable development:

Carbon Sequestration:
  • Implement farming practices and technologies aimed at maximizing carbon capture, with the goal of sequestering 10,000 tons of CO2 annually by year five. This includes extensive planting of bamboo and the use of biochar soil amendments.
Biodiversity Enhancement:
  • Enhance local biodiversity by restoring native habitats and creating new ecological niches within the farm landscape. This includes developing pollinator-friendly zones, wildlife corridors, and aquatic habitats.
Organic Certification:
  • Achieve and maintain organic certification for all cultivated lands by adhering to strict organic practices, eliminating the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, and employing natural farming techniques that improve soil health and crop resilience.
